Open Call: 100 ways to look at a to-do list

Imbue is looking for {creatives, technologists, culture makers, people with unique taste} to create new works in Imbue Studio, with the theme “100 ways to look at a to-do list.”

Imbue Studio (https://imbue.com/product/studio) is a way to create and share personal software. Submit your most creative take on what a to-do list might look like.

We are inspired by Computer Lib / Dream Machines, “19 Ways of Looking at Wang Wei,” early 2000s MySpace, Joseph Kosuth’s “One and Three Chairs,” experimental GUIs like Apple's "HotSauce"… this is not a directive, we want you to surprise us.

We will select 20-30 pieces to commission - selected artists will receive a $300 honorarium. There is no application fee. Commissioned pieces will be spotlighted on our site.

Selected artists will be required to build out their proposal in Imbue Studio and allow Imbue to share the artifact on our social media.

Application period: Nov 1 – Nov 22 2026 (rolling)
