Why AI agents don’t work (yet): Kanjun on the Latent Space podcast

To the question of, why us? I think a strong focus on reasoning, which we believe is the biggest blocker; on inspectability, which we believe is really important for user experience; and also for the power and capability of these systems. Building non-leaky, good abstractions, which we believe is solving the core issue of agents, which is around reliability and being able to make them deployable. And then really seriously trying to use these things ourselves, like every single day, and getting to something that we can actually ship to other people.
